I've been trying to be cognizant about giving him some quiet time when he starts to look tired so that he'll stay asleep after I nurse him. Hopefully that will work out just fine :) Danielle https://www.blogger.com/profile/00076826470661207869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948346937267497450.post-51236987771888158992013-10-19T07:52:33.726-05:002013-10-19T07:52:33.726-05:00Keep following your instinct with baby naps. At that point I loosely follow a 2-3-4 pattern - first nap 2 hours after morning waking, 2nd nap 3 hours after 2nd waking, bedtime 4 hours after last waking. But I never just put them down and tried to get them to sleep on their own - we use white noise machines and nursing and I've never had difficult babies :)

Anyway, I read somewhere that good sleepers/bad sleepers can be a genetic thing, so sometimes sleep training won't work no matter what! And there are so many methods out there that you just find what works for you - we tried to get John Paul to cry it out once and it was a miserable failure, and we lived in a tiny apartment so it's not like I could just put him down and walk away!Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12888635342531960478noreply@blogger.com
